Location: Baumber Park, Horncastle.

Whilst driving across a newly harvested field of vining peas in the parish of Great Sturton this afternoon I came across the following:-

2 Lesser BB Gulls ( 1 Adult 1 Sub Adult)
1 Yellow Wagtail (male, pea fields are attractive to Y wags so hope this one has managed to raise a brood before the harvesters arrived)
1 Adult Cuckoo ( the 1st inland bird I have seen or heard all season!)
