Location: Saltfleet and Tipton, West Mids.
Rimac.- The waders have started to return, 100 Dunlin, 2 Knot, 4 Sanderling, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, Whimbrel, Curlew, Ringed Plover and Oystercatcher were seen and a Marsh Harrier was hunting over the marsh.
Merrikins Pullover, Donna Nook NNR.- A Short-eared Owl was hunting the marsh at noon, just 2 Dunlin were noted.
Sea View Farm new wetland area.- only 3 Pied Wagtails.
Elm House Farm Saltfleetby St Clements.- Although the ponds are holding water this year, they are too small to attract waders, just a few Tufted Ducks were seen.
Manby Flashes.- It looks as though water levels are going to be too high this year for waders but it looks as though a pair of Shoveler have bred and Water Rail has been heard.
