Two apparent canvasback types on Jacksons Marsh new in at dusk - not seen on any of the lagoons this morning, but worth keeping an eye out around the county today

Cheers

Hi Roy

It was very late when they turned up and very bad light in the weather conditions - I wouldnt say I have pictures - more like images of distant, blurred, silhouettes!

The birds werent full males - maybe early eclipse males or females.

Hope they turn up somewhere else. Have there been any reports anywhere recently ?

Cheers

Kev

Have not heard of any Canvasback types being reported from anywhere else in the country.
It would be nice to get a good look at them, should they turn up again.
