Black-head Gull - 1
Linnet - 4
Carr Dyke: 1615 - 1650Main reason for going other than I love the place ( brings back happy childhood memories) was in the hope of seeing the yearly Yellow Wags, especially after reading the sombre posting by GPC, I found reading that very upsetting and I daresay many others did as well! We had to really struggle to find anything but found the following: Red-leg Partridge - 2, Linnet - 2, Moorhen - 1, Pied Wag - 2, Swallow - 2 and YES a pair of Yellow Wag

. We didn't see them until I was driving away from the pumping station, the male flew low past us and then I spotted the female on the overhead wire, she then flew onto the track looking for insects where she had cover from the wind.

Yellow Wag - 1f
It was good to get out for a change and especially going down Butterwick Road and the extremely fresh farmyard smell

it certainly cleared my sinuses.
Kind regards
