Had text from BC, who was asking about the weather. Mobile and WiFi coverage quite good where we are (Grantown-on-Spey). Looking forward to returning to a cool and refrshing Louth on Friday! Geoff |

Hi Geoff. Crested Tit! Unless you have already done it. Take the B9102 out of Grantown, go past the Grammar School and Grantown Golf Club on your right. Just beyond the Golf Course there is an obvious track leading into the old woods again on the right. My notebook says they called it 'Poorhouse Wood'. There is an obvious parking place for a couple of cars opposite. Follow the track all the way down to the stream for Crested Tit. Heading off to the right half way down the track used to be very good for Cappa. but the dog walkers have ruined that rather. I have always managed Crested Tit here though. Sorry for the off topic info. |
