Ring-necked Duck briefly back on the same roadside pit at Shearmans Wath this morning. Eventually got fed up with the squabbling coots and flew towards Horncastle with 2 Tufties.

It is where the unclasified road crosses the river Bain about 1 mle West of West Ashby TF2533 7193. The RN Duck can sometimes be seen from the road on the small pit nearest to W Ashby. It is very sporadic though but early mornings or evenings seem to give the best chance.
