A productive morning on the patch with some local scarcities, good numbers of hirundines and plenty of songbird action.

Apex Pit

Little Gull - 2 1st-sum
Arctic Tern - 1
Common Tern - 16
Swift - 2
Swallow - 12
Sand Martin - 35
House Martin - 50

Teal Lake

Little Egret - 1
Common Tern - 7
Swift - 5
Swallow - 5
House Martin - 12

Millenium Lake

Sand Martin - 2
Swallow - 5
House Martin - 85
Swift - 6
Common Tern - 2
Lesser black-backed Gull - 13

General

Nightingale - 2 singing (one of which showed amazingly well in the open, down to a few feet at times)
Garden Warbler - 1
Blackcap - 4
Sedge Warbler - 2
Willow Warbler - 4
Chiffchaff - 3
Bullfinch - 1 male
Reed Bunting - 1 male
Buzzard - 1
