This afternoon on leaving the reserve,i came across a Female Pied Flycatcher,it commenced to show well after being rather elusive and several cameramen got very good photos of it(Near silver birch wood and zone 6),ive been promised via e-mail some shots hopefuly, also Ben Revell i understand will include one on here.(excellent shots now in photo album)First record for the reserve.this is the 2nd bird ive had in north Lincs one being at Winteringham in august(a female also).
with Dave Johnson many years back(will get the yr later).
Also 9 Arctic Terns shot throu,Alan and Carol got them.Sadly Roy didnt get Video of it,as after he arrived it became elusive...unfortunatly..
Regards,
Rog with Ann and Carl Hudson,Roy Harvey,et al..

This Flycatcher is a first for me and did it show well at times. Pic posted in the gallery. It made up for all the wet, miserable days we've just been having.
