Post subject:  Gib 30/04/2012 - Red-rumped swallow

A noticeable increase of warblers since I was last out in good weather. Also some late winter migrants ans the first good hirundine passage of the spring..

Osprey per R Doan
Brambling 12 trapped !! per T Bagworth
Fieldfare 19
redwing
song thrush 5
redpoll 4
tree pipit
yellow wag 5
swallow 115 south
house martin 15 south
sand martin 5 south
swift 15 south
marsh harrier
cuckoo
wheatear 10
and this evening a red-rumped swallow picked up over the Freshwater Marsh at 1850, then hunting over the East Dunes at Shovelers Pool briefly before dissappearing over the dune ridge and preumed heading south.

Cheers

Kev
