A brief late afternoon visit to Butterwick produced a very nice surprise in the form of a Short-eared owl which kept me entranced for a good half an hour as it hunted close to the bank of the beck. In brief interludes from following the exploits of the SEO I also managed to notice: 2 Common buzzard 1 Kestrel Brightened up an otherwise cold a dreary evening. Rgds Joe |
