An hour here this evening produced. Cuckoo calling just to the east of the reserve Barn owl Reed bunting pr Willow warbler singing Swallow 5 Grey heron Cheers Brian. |

Visited the reserve in driving rain yesterday (28/4) morning so only got as far as the hide - which seems to be currently used for a variety of activities apart from bird watching! Only 7 Greylags, 1 Mute Swan, 5 coots, 8 Swallows, 2 Sand Martins and a House Martin were on the scrape with a linnet and willow warbler singing nearby. |
