Barnacle goose 2
Brent goose 450+
Arctic tern 10
Little gull 1
Buzzard 2
Marsh harrier 1
Avocet 40+
Little ringed plover 1
Black-winged Stilt 1
White wagtail 1
Yellow wagtail 2
Tree sparrow 22
Corn bunting 2

Also this evening;

Whooper swan - 1
Marsh harrier - 4
Lesser whitethroat - 1
Ruff - 15
Whimbrel - 5
Scaup - 1

That's the first time I can recall seeing Lesser Whitethroat before Common Whitethroat in the spring.

One of the male Ruff at Frampton this afternoon was colour-ringed....

Note the Yellow Wagtail in the top right-hand corner of the image. Also White Wagtail and 3 Whimbrel.

This is a very interesting ruff!! Not that all ruff aren't interesting of course, but this one has been a regular at Frampton since early 2010. It also flew 365km from Frampton to the Netherlands in less than 10 hours on 1st April 2011.

I'll put a full history up of it later...
