Hi,

The black-winged stilt is showing very well on the scrapes at Frampton.

Also:

A pair of garganey on the wet grassland
Avocet 60+
Little ringed plover 2
Yellow wagtail 2
Wheatear 4
Corn bunting 1

Still present at 6.00 pm on wet fields opposite visitor centre.

Still present this morning on either the South Scrape or the flooded grassland towards the sea bank....mobile, but not elusive!

SUCCESS!

Black-winged Stilt seen this afternoon flying in the area John Badley said! Good views had of the bird all afternoon despite a beefy thunderstorm at about 15:00!

YAY! :D

211 now - what bird will be Number 212?

Black-winged Stilt still present Sunday on the scrapes near 360 hide and viewable from the road.

Good views of Sammy 2 yesterday morning, mobile but mainly on the "reedbed". The drake Scaup is now in full breeding plumage. Several hundred Brent still around plus Sedge Warbler, 3 Little Ringed Plovers, a Common Ringed Plover on the nest and 2 White Wagtails.

Showing on the Reedbed from the Visitor Centre this morning.

The Black-w Stilt soon moved from the reedbed and then stayed on the lagoon near the 360 hide for a couple of hours where it could be viewed well either from the hide or from the track. Late morning it flew over the track to the flooded fields where it could still be seen, but at some distance.

Corn bunting 2

Can anyone offer any info on this bird? If the stilt has be sighted today then I will make the trip tomorrow just need confirmation it's still there.
