I to went down Yesterday (sorry for late reply Very busy) Btween 1:30 - 5:00 I walked around the resevoir twice. 1 Green Sandpiper 2 Sand Martin 1 Shovler (m) (My first at Covenham) 1 Wheater (f) 2 Oystercatcher 7 Redshank 2 Little Grebe 15 Great Creasted Grebe 7 Cormorant Around 75 Swallow 4 White Wagtail 15 Pied Wagtail 18 Yellow Wagtail Around 100 Tufted duck 6 Teal 8 Linnet Probably More Wagtail numbers, If your on the look out for them you will have more luck in Potato field near the car park, all three species were present there. |
