Hi All.
Back on shift today and a nice fall of Wheatears on the first check out of the airfield.
28f & 15m with 2/3 candidates for Greenland but could'nt get close enough as i only had bins to be sure.
Buzzard 2
Oystercatcher
Swallow first of the year
Curlew 3 pr and singleton.
First wheatear of the year was on the 5th April about a fortnight later than usual.

I got 4 Brian (all females i think) in a 10 minute spell and 3 possible flyovers. They werent hanging around.

Hi All. 2 hour jaunt around today 1245-1445 produced.
Wheatear 9f/4m probably more
linnets 30+ gathering nesting material was the main activity
Swallow 1 s-n up main runway
Curlew 1/pr/pr
Fieldfare c10
Buzzard displaying the length of runway enjoying the strongish wind
