Quick visit this morning (ahead of the fishermen) turned up the following :-

1 Common Sandpiper
2 Avocet (flew off east)
1 Peregrine (flying over the water and harrying some of the ducks)
8+ Yellow Wagtail
2+ White Wagtail
c. 20 each of Swallows and Sand Martins (no House Martins)
1 Grey Heron
4 Cormorants

Usual ducks and swans, with a few 'skirmishes' between the 4 pairs of Shelducks.

Richard.
