Yesterday, April 11th, I called in at Holbeach St Matthews where there is public access to the Wash. Sitting on a bridleway marker next to the pumping station just 5 yards from me was a male Twite singing its little heart out, impressing me and the 2 female Twite feeding on the ground beside him. This is a very late record.
Also 1 female Wheatear.
