As the Peregrines have not attempted to breed this year at St James' Church, the tower will now be re-opened to the public. We are grateful to the church for keeping the tower closed to the public this year until now, to afford them the possibility of nesting. It is possible that the Peregrines roosting on the church over the winter are Scandinavian breeding birds, which are known to winter in the UK.
