Yellow leg tag LUC seen last winter was seen this winter as well at Buck Beck Cleethorpes in exactly same spot. Norway, Cleethorpes, Norway, Cleethorpes. I reckon that's fascinating.

Given the location of this bird in late spring, I thought it might be a Siberian 'canutus' but the BTO Migration Atlas gives a fascinating insight into the migration route of 'islandica' birds en route to Northern Greenland breeding grounds.
