Quite mild weather, shame Gib appeared to be a largely migrant-free zone. Only birds of note: Barn Owl 1, hunting the old salt marsh Siskin 2 , Sykes farm Crossbill, 15, departing noisily south from the vicinity of the north car park Phil |

I only managed 2 chiffchaff, 3 redwing and 5 goldcrest in the East Dunes this morning. Also two short-eared owl, male hen harrier and merlin. Rob Watson just reported black redstart at the Visitor Centre. Kev |
