Thank you Mandy West for alerting me to the daytime hunting short eared owl. Thsi bird ranged up and down the shore line even with many people wandering the bankside path.

a later stroll had a barn owl share the same area.

A bonus whilst watching the SEO this afternoon was at least 4 harbour porpoise just off shore in the receding tide. :lol:
