Buzzards 3 Soaring together with scarcely a perceptible wing movement just west of the railway station.
I have not seen Buzzard east of Heckington throughout the winter and not seen three together throughout the period. Regular sitings around Rauceby, Ancaster and at Allington have all been single birds. The bird I have seen at Ancaster is I'm sure the same one and I have noted that this individual shows a considerable amount white on the under-parts and that the pattern of under-wing varies considerably from many others I have recorded particularly when seen in flight. I have assumed that these are birds that have bred at or around Belvoir Castle.

Some information that George Bishop may find of help regarding buzzards East of Heckington.

I play golf at South Kyme golf club and buzzards are regularly seen. Only last Sunday (11th March) beautiful sunny warm day we saw a party of three soaring over the course from the North West hesded East and they put up another pair as they drifted over the course towards its Eastern edge.

Over the Winter they are regulars and mostly at least two in the air together but as many as seven have been seen in the air at once.
