2nd winter Iceland gull at Havenside(Opposite Boston tip) at 13:00 hrs Paul |

Upon getting home i noticed a report of an adult Iceland at Frampton at 14:15 this afternoon. It was not there when i went at 15:00 but i was informed by those present that it was actually a 2nd winter so possibly the same bird that flew from the tip in that direction earlier Paul |

It was definitely a 2nd Winter bird Paul and that's how I reported it to Birdguides. I have since asked them to correct the erroneous report. Also at Frampton Marsh today: Little Egret 6 Goldeneye 1 Whooper Swan 76 Avocet 7 Ruff 10 (probably more) Dunlin 22 Black-tailed Godwit 2 Snipe 7 Oystercatcher 5 Grey Plover 1 Twite c30 Pale-bellied Brent Goose 2 Pintail c20 Dark-bellied Brent Goose c500 Colin and Sheila |
