A WeBS count visit to twigmoor produced little by way of wetland birds but did manage to pick up: 8 Mallard 6 Teal 3 Moorhen 1 Little Grebe - heard but not seen, possible more than one bird present and 3 Common Buzzard - thermalling and calling 2 Treecreeper 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker (heard not seen) 1 Chiffchaff (heard singing briefly) |
