This evening produced the following of note: Wood Pigeon - 820 in the roost Magpie - 17 in same area as above Sparrowhawk - 1 male Goosander - 5 (1m, 2f and 2 1st wint male) Corvid roost - no counts made but estimated several thousand birds present and again a spectacular site and sound dominated by Jackdaws. In addition a Great Spotted Woodpecker flew over in Hartsholme Park. Matthew |
