There were six Avocets on the hide pit this morning. (Unfortunately with the water level so high they are not going to find a nesting site!) Is this a particularly early record for Avocets in the county? |

Trevor There were 2 avocet at Frampton last Friday and also 392 in the Ferriby area on the same day (as per Steve Routledge) Chris |

Thanks for that Chris - just seemed to me to be a bit early but then there are a few signs of spring rather earlier than I expected! |

None this morning but one Brambling in the mixed finch flock between the tip and the village. Hugh |
