The winter has given us back our open water but the wildfowl sought shelter from a strong westerly. I hoped for 2 smew today but found just the one, on Target Pit. Don Davis reported three bittern on Nes Pit. |

Yesterday there were still 2 Redhead Smew on Target pit, one did come onto Ness Pit, also 2 Bittern only 1 seen by myslef and also 3 Pintail reported sadly not seen by myself either. Bittern was the first for my dad and he was well chuffed after 4 hours in the hide
