In the snowy conditions the past couple of days it has been quiet but here are the best bits. 9th House sparrow 30 in the Barn farm area with 6/7 Tree sparrow feeding on the chicken feeders Redwings a lot of singles feeding along the bottomof hedgerows and fences Fieldfare 1 Lapwing 150 10th Buzzard 3/4, a pale M&F have got together with a couple of normal coloured floating around Long tailed tit 2 very scarce only the 3rd time i've seen them in 15 yrs Short eared owl, 1 sitting on the fence near the windsock at the Harmston end at 1542. A607 from bracebridge to harmston xroads and turn left go east past the runway lights on the rh bend take the first turning left go north towards crash gate and park up follow path to the west from gate past runway end and it appeared on the chainlink fence there.
