Had an hours walk round one of the lakes at Whisby this morning, usual suspects on the limited non-frozen areas, saw a couple of Goldcrests as well which was nice. 'Confirmed' sighting of a Bittern on Grebe lake on Saturday but no sighting today. Had a drive over to Dorrington this afternoon and had a real bonus on the way down Navenby straight, a Peregrine sat in an Ash tree near the road, :D watched him for a minute or so then he flew off scattering a flock of pigeons before disappearing from view. A couple of SEOs at Dorrington but no real close views, on the way home saw a Little Owl in a tree near Thurlby, so not a bad day despite the weather. :D
