After the cold easterlies last thurs a wash out of starfish and razorfish
on the outer shore in the c600m wide tidewash strip today, herring gull c3200 (with all
winter age plumages present) c2100 common gull 132 greater black back and only 5 black headed,
no scarce gulls and no leg rings seen. also seen 7 and 4 red throat divers north
58 roosting cormorant, 246 curlew, 2 mute swans ( unusual) and 134 crows,
1 f peregrine 1 ringtail hen harrier. regards John, and Peter Roworth

100212 minus 2oc at 0900 with a biting southerly f3 and 2 ins fresh snow, outer beach only c 300 herring and 230 common gulls
a steady passage of red throat divers 17 all north 0950 to 1050hrs sea very choppy and nothing seen on water. regards John.
