14:30- 16:00 this afternoon in damp misty weather.

1 Short-eared Owl
1-2 Barn Owl
1 Merlin
2 Hen Harriers
2 Common Buzzard
1 Redshank
2 Mute Swans mating
200 Lapwing
Still some Bewick's and Whoopers with the rest of the Mute Swan herd but too distant to count numbers accurately.

3 SEO at Wasps Nest and 2 Barn Owl on the haystack nearby at 2.30pm. Single buzzard there also. A further SEO over the beet field down the Fen late on and 2 further Barn Owls showing well just beyond there to 4.30pm. A small flock of Bullfinch (5+) in the hedge opposite the Wasps Nest farm was a nice find.

No Harriers that I saw.
