Post subject:  Cov Res and around

Out on my bike today for the first time of the year.

Covenham Reservoir: Red necked Grebe showing well on the north side plus a male Goosander there.

Fulstow: 2 Little Egrets

Thorseby Bridge: 24 Mute Swans, 10 Whoopers, 4 Tundra Bean Geese, hung around for about 45 mins but no sign of Short eared Owl, there was one there on Monday according to Keith Robinson who I saw at the res.

North Thoreseby Fisheries: 1 Egyptian Goose

Hard work on the way back, 11 miles into the wind. The wind has got pretty wild tonight and has just blown a large pane out of my greenhouse! Lets hope it blows some birds in.
