Good to put faces to names, Mark and David! Despite staying until dusk didnt manage to find any larid of note. Plenty of argentatus about and about a dozen LBBs. Couldnt even find a Med!!

A visit today between 11.30-2.00 produced the following. 1 Bewicks Swan 1 Green Sandpiper 5 Mute Swan plus the following being present Goldeneye Tufted Ducks Wigeon Teal Pochard Coot Moorhen Fieldfare Redwing Bullfinch Cormorant plus Gulls Was nice to meet up with Nigel Lound - Good look Nigel for the Gull roost. All the above plus: Peregrine over NE corner of main lake Sparrowhawk (f) Kingfisher Great Crested Grebe 4 Little Grebe 2 Nice to meet Nigel comfortably ensconced waiting for the gulls. David |
