Apologies for the late post but an interesting experience in Lincoln on Friday 6 Jan.

Having parked my car on the Thornbridge Car Park in the centre of Lincoln, I looked up to see a dozen Pink feet flying low overhead. Two of the birds peeled off to the right, pursued by a Peregrine, which made a couple of half-hearted attacks as the geese "ducked and dived" before they were lost to view over the city buildings.

BWP states that Peregrines can take geese and even herons. First time I have observed Peregrines going after something of this size!

Cheers,

David Cohen
