Anderby Creek – 25th Oct 2011 Seawatch between 12:00-17:30hrs Starling c500 (numerous parties off sea) Eider Duck 1S 5N Great Skua 2N Common Scoter 5N 5S (same birds?) Diver sp (sat offshore at about 300m) – looked like a summer plumage GND? Skua sp 1N Brent Goose 32S 1N Gannet 12S 1N Wigeon 8S Kittiwake 7S 11N Peregrine 1S Great Crested Grebe 1N SABINES GULL – 1st Winter bird off shore at 13:46hrs – briefly landed on the sea before flying south. Cormorant 1S Dunlin 5S Little Gull 4 Adults &1 first cal yr bird Swallow 1 Anderby Creek – 26th Oct 2011 Seawatch 09:00 – 1700hrs Goldfinch 63S Skylark 42S Meadow Pipit c50S Reed Bunting 3S Siskin 5 S Linnet c25S Kestrel 2S Chaffinch 3S Brent Goose 7S Eider Duck 4S Skua sp 3 Common Scoter 65N 59S Short-eared Owl 1S ROUGH-LEGGED BUZZARD – 1 first cal year bird south along beach at 11:15am, being mobbed by carrion crow photos to follow Great Skua 1S SHAG – imm bird south, landed on sea near outflow, then beached. Drifted off south later. Pink-footed Goose 52S Blackbird c20 in off the sea – one being chased by great black-backed gull Woodcock 1 off sea Redwing – 20S |

Velvert Scoter 1N male Red Throated Diver 1S Kittiwake 3S Great Skua 3S Skua Sp 2 |
