Managed a couple of hours of both am and pm sea watches from Skegness today in a F6/7 E/SE wind.
Highlight was a juvenile Sabine's Gull close in heading south at 1530. Watched for about 20 seconds when it landed on the sea some 150m from shore and was lost to view in the big swell.
Other birds seen were Bonxie 2N Velvet Scoter 4S Common Scoter 3S GC Grebe 1 on sea Kittiwake 4S Goldeneye 1S RT Diver 9 Guillemot 6N Auk sp 4 Eider 4S Wigeon 14S Teal 12S
PDQ apart from the Sabine's considering the wind and visibility was poor throughout
Regards
