Pyes Hall this morning.
1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Blackcap, 6 ca. Goldcrest, 1 Woodcock, 1 Short-eared Owl, several Fieldfare and Redwing plus Brambling heard.
1 exhausted Blackbird was sitting alongside the path to Pyes Hall, hope it recovered OK.

A brief visit in the hour before dark produced:

Yellow-browed Warbler (presumably the same bird)
Goldcrest - 15
Brambling - 1
Ruddy Shelduck - 1
Whooper Swan - 1
Fieldfare - 10

and one dead Blackbird along the track to Pye's...

James
