Thank goodness, I saw my first female ruddy duck for this year, last week, somewhere on an English reservoir. She looked in excellent health, no sign of gunshot wounds. Here's hoping for lots of little ones next spring. |

I was just thinking that with all the talk of possible American visitors being blown over by Hurricane Katia, why couldn't this happen to Ruddy Duck. |

Nick I am certain a few must have been blown over, perhaps the little lady I saw and while I concur with your sentiments on providing more targets for the guns, they will not get them all. i hope! |
