1630 hrs at Shearmans Wath, West Ashby. Seen in excellent light over 'my patch' this afternoon for a couple of minutes before it flew off south towards Horncastle. A orangey/rufous juvenile with good views of facial patterns. All in all a good raptor day as plenty of Buzzards and Kestrels have been soaring in the warm sunshine. Mike |
