Brief stop on way home this afternoon revealed resting in a grass field adjacent to the pit: 1 Yellow Legged Gull 400+ LBB Gulls 8 herring Gulls 3 GBB Gulls Over and in the working pit at least another 150 gulls, 2 Red Kites and 100 assorted corvids (no Ravens) Further Kites on way home: 1 at Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth, 1 Twyford Wood (Colsterworth) and 1 Birkholme (nr Corby Glen).
