About 30 mins ago I nipped out to the Co Op to stock up on G & T. Walking down Union St I heard the unmistakeable sound of a Swift calling from within the roof of a house just above the pavement. On the way back there was a Swift flying around over the area. Most of the Swifts disappeared nearly 3 weeks ago but my firm impression was that this could be an exceptionally late breeding record. Also a Grey Wagtail in the Co Op car park.
