This morning I woke up nice and early so I had the chance of spotting some owls but my main target was little owl after finding some pellets in the area.

Birds seen

1 Barn owl
1 Tawny owl
1 Grey heron
3 Curlew
9 Canada geese
26 Long-tailed tit
3 Great tit
4 Blue tit
3 Pheasant
4 Linnet
4 Mute swan
2 Coot
2 Moorhen
23 Mallard
Lots of Carrion crow, Jackdaw, Rook, Swallows and Wood pigeons

Sadly dipped on the Little owl. After walking around lots of fields looking around all the big trees especially the ones with large hollows in. If anybody could give me any information on the best kind of place to look for these birds or knows of a place in North Lincolnshire. I have only ever seen Little owls at night on telephone poles lite up by the car headlights.
