LNU Field meeting to Alkborough Flats
13 August 2011
67 species noted including:
3 spoonbills
8 little egrets
4 marsh harriers
1 common buzzard
4 kestrels
1 sparrowhawk
30 avocets
2 ruffs
120+ black-tailed godwits
5 greenshanks
3 green sandpipers
2 common sandpipers
2 tawny owls
5 swifts
45+ yellow wagtails
good range of common warblers in scrubby marginal areas.
60+ linnets
