Apologies for lateness, but wanted to check first!

Hobby 1 yesterday at Kirkstead Bridge
Common Tern 2 flying up the Witham
Chaffinch - first large flock I've seen recently approx 25

Kirkstead bridge area this morning:
Sparrowhawk 2
Common Sandpiper 1 on small pool
Turtle Dove 3
Lesser Whitethroat 3
Blackcap, Whitethroat, Chiffchaff are numerous along the river.
Mixed flock of Chaffinch, Linnet, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Reed Bunting and Yellowhammer loosely associating in the scrub along the river - all species with juveniles; approx 100 in all - quite a sight this early in the autumn (?)
