I noticed the gulls over Louth too but there was a huge flock as I drove through Wragby at lunchtime

Sat in my daughter's garden at Dunston at 4 p.m today we were treated to a similar spectacle of c800 common/black-headed gulls feeding on flying ants. However, they were gone by 4.20p.m. Probably a case of being in the right place at the right time.
