This evening I went around my local fields and my BTO Bird atlas square tetrand. I had an lovely evening while the sun was setting. I managed to confirm 2 breeding species for TA20 and 8 for my sqaure. Leaves only 5 breeding confimations to reach 75% for TA20

I went out loooking for Barn owls and 5 minutes after arriving at my watchpoint one came past although very distant, then hunted over the field were he caught something and took it back to the nest box, he did this twice before disapearing for a while, during the second flight a Female Roe deer came out in the distance and managed to get a shot of the two of them together although just a record.

Other Birds of Note were;

8 Lapwing over
2 Reed Warbler carrying food (confirmed breeding CB)
2 Great spotted woodpecker 1 juv (CB)
2 Kingfisher
1 Grey Heron
5 Chiffchaff (CB)
7 Goldfinch (CB)
3 Chaffinch (CB)
5 Blackbird (CB)
4 Yellowhammer (CB)
5 Great tit (CB)
2 magpie (CB)
lots of swifts and swallows hunting low over the fields

Thanks Anthony
