Spent late afternoon at the reserve yesterday. While nothing particularly noteworthy was nice to see:-

Numerous Black Tailed Godwits in fading summer plummage,
Numerous Lapwings
10 x Avocet
12 x Shelduck
10 x Little Egret
3 x Grey Heron
1 x Greenshank
Goldfinches
Reed Warblers
Reed Bunting
Sand Martins
Swallows

Also, enjoyed watching the Kestrel family at the nesting box.

Rain spoilt opportunity to look in the hedgerows for the Turtle Doves, as I was only in shirt sleeves as I was on way to a meeting.
