There's something rather satisfying when you can sit in your back garden in Market Rasen enjoying a beautiful summer evening and listen to a Quail calling from Linwood direction as I did five minutes ago.

Just returned from holiday and the Quail is still calling - according to my neighbour it's been calling continually for 2 weeks - does it qualify as an Atlas breeding record for TF18?

That's sufficient to establish a territory, a bird singing in suitable breeding habitat in the same place for a week or more. So code T, which is probable breeding. Now confirm them, one helluva challenge!
