9 little egrets, at least 88 lapwing and 1 yellow wagtail were the highlights of a brief visit this afternoon |

Only 6 Little Egrets about today, and only about 30 Lapwing. However, 2 Curlew appeared as well as a Common Sandpiper. Over at the LWT hide usual suspects were on the water, with Tufted, Mallard, Coot, Gadwall and Teal about. Also, Great Crested Grebe on the nest. Highlight though was watching a Swallow feed young in an interestingly placed nest. Andrew |
