Only three spoonbill on Tennyson Sands this morning
The Stonechat was Lills Hut side of the visitor centre in a bush out on the saltmarssh
Several Sandwich Tern out at sea and one obliging individual flew over us on the beach
Also two or three Little Terns which I managed to miss
The Long Tailed Duck is still showing well from the Mere Hide
A Grasshopper Warbler is in the same area9bush) as I saw it last week
Two splendid Spotted redshank on Jacksons Marsh
A Hobby and a Marsh Harrier over the saltmarsh from Lills Hut
Waders on Jacksons included Redshank (10), Black Tailed Godwit (c10) & a Little Ringed Plover and another or the same on Tennysons
The Ruddy Shelduck was seen about 04:00 this morning according to Richard Doan. Needless to say it was not seen by me

I noted one of the Spoonbill had some colour rings on it's leg(s), I only saw one leg however and I didn't take details.
Today I saw 3 Spoonbill on Huttoft Pit which according to the log,had been here since at least 13:30 15th, so maybe 3 of the 6 from Gib on the 14th?
One of these 3 also had 6 colour rings. Left upper leg from top to bottom - red, green, yellow. Right upper leg - green flag, red, brown.
It would be interesting to know where they came from.

You can submit the details here Geoff http://blx1.bto.org/euring/lang/pages/r ... country=EN

You should get an answer fairly quickly, depending on who ringed them.

One of the spoonbills which was present at Gib on Wednesday was ringed. It looks from my heavily cropped photo (see album) as the rings were yellow(?) above red above green
